Francis Chan sermon

I highly recommend listening to this sermon. If you don`t listen to the whole thing, at least listen to the first 10 minutes or so. God really used this to reawaken me to the massiveness of the gospel. The outrageousness of what He did. He sent His only Son for His enemies. And forsook Him, while He was left bleeding on the cross? For us? "I scarce can take it in." Or as Francis Chan puts it, "God, I can`t BELIEVE what You did!!!!!!" We need the gospel every day. Preach it to yourself. Meditate on it. And I really do recommend listening to at least the first few minutes of this:

I do hope you find that encouraging. Anyway, as I promised in the past, I will now share with you more music! :D It makes me happy to do so. :)

Check out "Joy" by Page CXVI. It`s an interesting song all around because the lyrics are from a more happy-go-lucky VBS type song. But the way they re-did it is very minor and dark sounding. It`s so very well-done. The words don`t seem to quite match the music, but here`s a little explanation of the song that might help you get past it: http://blog.pagecxvi.com/post/683764188/joy It really is a beautiful song. I would also recommend listening to all of Page CXVI`s music. They do some really good renditions of different hymns.

Anyway, thanks for sticking around! Until next time...

Rye Bread`s Random Rambles (plus an announcement...)

Hi everyone! Long time no read. Or something. I tried not to start out this post by saying "Hey" at the beginning. Success. I`m really starting to branch out with my "Hi`s" and all that. Cool. So, I should totally be working on my essay right now, but guess what? I`d really rather not. I guess nobody really wants to work on an essay. But I`m just especially not in the mood right now. So, I decided, "Hey I`m gonna take a break from this and just blog." Here I am, doing just that. I`m probably just gonna ramble. Not that that`s really abnormal. Such a strange word, "abnormal". I love it. Also, an announcement will be at the end of this post.
Anyway, guys it`s sad because the show Peter Pan is over. Sunday was our last show. I met some pretty great people, learned a lot about theatre stuff, and just had an overall pretty great time. So, it was actually surprisingly sad when I left the theatre, saying bye to everyone, and remembering all the fun times we had together. I was surprised that I felt this way because I just felt so ready to be done with the show. It had involved a lot of sacrifice and hard work and I was ready to breathe that sigh of relief. And I did breathe it. And it made me both happy and sad. It was the definition of "bittersweet." So yeah, I`m officially a part of the theatre now and the theatre is a part of me. After all, I signed the wall. That`s about as official as it gets.
Look at me, indenting and starting new paragraphs. Things are getting pretty hardcore! Anyway, that`s pretty much all that I have to say. Oh also, this fall weather is bomb!!

Oh yeah, about that announcement that I mentioned...it`s not even really a big deal, it`s simply this:
I will be sharing with you a song, album, or musician/band each time I post. And because I don`t post very often in the first place, I will not run out of resources. ;D There`s just so much good music that I don`t want you guys to miss out on! So yeah, that`s a new thing that I literally decided to do 5 minutes ago. Just to give you guys some consistency. Plus, that`s pretty much all I do on this blog in the first place. So yay. Round 1. ;)

Go check out Pompton Lakes people! Not the place, the band.

Here`s a link to some of their sweet musical/lyrical goodness: CLICK HERE FOR GOOD MUSIC

Alright, everyone. Have an excellent rest of this beautiful, rainy Tuesday! Or whatever day you`re reading this on.

Be Still

Whad up, blogland. There is a lot going on round here, schedule-wise, and also in my brain. So, let me tell you about it. I think that's what this blog is for...idk haha. I'm not sure what the specific purpose of this blog is (I can't even say "my blog" cuz it's not even mine technically). Alright, so now that I've gotten distracted a few times, let's move on.

Life. Coming at me way faster than I would prefer. Wait, I'm sorry, did somebody say I'm a senior this year?! And I'm taking college classes? Whoa now...
Yep that's right. I'm officially a college student this year. And it's weird. Making daily commutes to colleges in this here city. So anyway. That's happening. Did I mention that I feel old? I know people say that all the time...but here, right-now-in-this-moment, I legitimately "feel old".

Yeah, so on top of doing old man things like college and stuff, I am also going to be crazy busy with a whole bunch of other things that I won't even list in order to spare you from being bored. Which, you probably already were five words into this post, but whatever. If you're still reading this, props to you. Oh and now my super rad sister lives 4 1/2 hours away. *tear* So that's gonna be a new thing this year. Attending Northern State University (go Wolves, by the way) in Aberdeen, SD. Got her all moved in this past weekend. But the really cool thing is that her boyfriend lives there (what a coincidence) and so now they get to hang out all the time!! So that's exciting for her.

Anyway, lots of change this year. But nothing God didn't see coming. In fact, nothing God didn't plan before the foundation of the world. It's good to chew on that fact. Downright tasty actually. And all the things that will come this year that we don't even know about, God knows. It's already happened in His plan. Because He is not bound by time. We get to live it out, knowing that God's plans are good. If only we could step back for a moment and see that.

Psalm 46:10
"Be still and know that I am God."

P.S: On a completely different note, I finished my little album! The title of it is Simplify, it has 12 tracks, and I'm excited for people to hear it! Yay! I'll probably have more details later. Til next time...

Well hello there

Hello there, blogging world. Nice to see you again. Back in action. Here we go. I guess I`ll just kinda be filling you in on what`s been going on around here...

As far as I know, I won`t really be posting any pictures, because I don`t have access to them at the moment. So, I guess I`ll just be typing a lot. ;) Anyway, something that is super exciting is that I started taking guitar lessons recently! Soooooo super uber pumped that I get to do this!!! I started playing when I was 13, so 4-ish years ago. But I had mostly taught myself over that period of time, so this is going to be excellent for me, not just as a guitar player, but also as a musician in general.
While I`m on the subject of music, I will officially publicly reveal that I am working on an album. Although I think that most of you knew already anyway haha. But yeah, I am really excited about it and I am having a blast recording all of it and experimenting. I hope to put together a collection of 12 songs. I`m up to 7 right now, but those aren`t even quite done yet. I`m sorta hoping to  have it done by the end of the summer, but we`ll see what happens. :) Maybe I`ll just release an EP or something...I don`t know. Anyway, yeah, that`s happening and it`s really fun!
Summer is almost here! Crazy. And speaking of summer, it is the season of finding a job for many, including me and my bro. We are hoping to work at Family Christian, and we`ve already put in about 10 hours there, but we`re not officially hired yet. Confusing, I know. They needed help moving in to a new location, so we helped out with that. Hopefully, we will get put into the schedule, but we`ll have to wait and see.
Also, related to summer, our sister Sunshine is home from school!!!!! Which is just fantastic.
Also, not really related to summer, my parents headed for Jamaica in the wee hours of this morning. Which means that we children are home alone for 6 days or so. Hopefully we will hold down the fort adequately. ;)
Just a couple nights ago, our little sister Peaches officially graduated kindergarten!! Whoohoo!!! The little program they put on was just great. It was so fun for me, T-bird, and Sunshine to watch, because we had graduated from kindergarten at the same school, and with the same teacher that Peaches had! They did a lot of the same stuff that we did in our graduating program. That was 11 years ago for me and T-bird....weird...I feel really old.
Oh, and our youth group just started going through Proverbs. We`re gonna be going through it throughout the summer. It`s been super good!! As we read it, we`re trying to find connections to Christ mainly, but also other New Testament stuff. It`s pretty amazing how much you can find when you`re keeping your mind open to more that just what you`re reading. It`s caused a lot of good discussion as well. I think it`s a really excellent way of edifying and encouraging one another as fellow believers. I`m really excited to continue with it!
Anyway, there`s probably a whole lot more going on that I missed, but I`ll stop there. Have a fantasmagorical weekend!!!!

Good tunes...

Hey everyone! I just thought I`d share some good music with you. It`s some good stuff by Robbie Seay Band. And honestly, I never really ever listened to them because I thought their band name was lame. Haha pretty weak reason. But I`ve actually been giving them a chance the last couple weeks and I`m digging it!! So, you can get their album Rich & Poor for free on Noisetrade (pretty much my favorite website). Yeah, so here`s the link. I think it`ll do your soul some good. It did mine. Alright, so now that I have shared yet MORE music with you, I`ll get going on signing off. Seriously though, pretty much all I do on here anymore is share music. Haha oh well. I do hope you give it a listen. Okay, so if you don`t listen to any of it, at least listen to this one that I will post:

I love the simple cry in this song:
I wanna live for the King!
I wanna live for the King!

That sounds so simple and it really is. But can it not also be the longing that is found deep in your soul? I know when I listen to this song, my heart sings along with these words with such a passion! Because I want my life to glorify my King. And it`s not by my strength that I can do this. So, it`s almost a plead to God, saying, "I wanna live for You!" And that`s all wrapped up in this simple, yet deep phrase. Oh, my King. Do not let me live simply for Christianity.

Don`t wanna live for an ideology
Oh I want to know You, not just know about a God who saves

Another post..for lack of a better title

This is another blog post. I don`t really have a cool title for it as you probably saw. Because I really don`t even have a game plan for what it`s going to be about. So, brace yourself. Yeah, so here I am again. Typing. Life is busy, so that`s why there hasn't been a lot of it going on lately. :) Lots of things going on, like college basketball! March Madness has begun and (as usual) my bracket is completely destroyed. Haha so it goes. But yeah. Anyway, that`s sort of irrelevant. Just thought I`d let you all know. ;) So, anyway, one thing that amazes me--especially as of late--is God`s faithfulness. And I've probably said that quite a few times, but it really just never ceases to overwhelm me that a holy God would save us wicked people from His wrath. And after this we STILL run from Him, STILL wanting our own way, STILL chasing after vain things, even after all that He`s done for us. But through our rebellion, He still pursues us, brings us back to the gospel, and reminds us that everything we could ever need is in Him. We do not deserve this kind of faithfulness. How many times have I failed miserably and He still brings me back to His arms? O Lord thank You! Does this not cause you to want to shout for joy?? He still loves us! With a fierce, jealous love. Despite our wickedness. Despite our ugly sin. He loves us enough to speak to us through His Holy Spirit while reading our Bible. Causes us to read something that we didn`t even know that we needed to read! Pretty unbelievable. And we are so weak. Just when we think, "Surely I can`t possibly make that same mistake again," we`re right back where we were. We need grace. And lots of it. Lord we need You. Every day, every hour, every second we need You! How I want more of Him in my life! To come and purge me of myself and my selfish ambition. I want Him to be my all in every aspect of my life. Because if Jesus is only in our life and is only important on Sundays and Wednesdays, then we`re embracing Jesus Christ the religion, not Jesus Christ the person. He should be our all in everything we do, including things that nobody even sees. Our God is to invade and affect every decision and every move that we make. Otherwise, how different are we from everyone else? I think there is more to this "Christian" life than we realize. Luke 14:25-33. And I am directing all of this at myself. I sometimes feel so deeply that there is more. There`s more for us to reach out and grab. There`s more than going to church on Sunday and learning good theology and doctrine. We still need those things, but surely we can go deeper in our spiritual lives. But again, this is not something we can do on our own. We need to ask our Father that He might graciously reveal His presence more in our lives. So, anyway, those are just some things running around in my head right now. Also, I`m pretty sure this gets the award for one of the longest blog posts ever. Haha alright, enough rambling. I`ll just leave you with this song by Gungor that kinda ties in with what I was saying about God`s faithfulness. I love the hope at the end of the song. You should give it a listen. Anyway, hope you enjoyed (or painfully endured) reading this post and I apologize for my tendency to ramble! :) Haha have a good weekend!

For now...

So, it`s been forever. I know. But here we go. I`m not even really posting anything exciting because I don`t really have time, but just thought I would say that I will hopefully be back sometime soon to post an in-depth something or another. Maybe. Hopefully sooner rather than later. But anyway, I`ll just leave you with this "song" by Beautiful Eulogy. Although it`s more like a sermon jam. But anyway, you should definitely check out their music, reeeeeaally good stuff. Gets you thinking. In fact, you can get BOTH of their albums for FREE on Noisetrade right here. Anyway, I`ll post the video now.

Rye Bread's Random Rambles

Hey guys!! So, it's been awhile. And I'm basically here to tell you that I will soon be posting a more in-depth post about our Fourth of July. Pictures and all that jazz. And hopefully SOON! Because we're leaving for South Carolina a week from today!! We'll be there for a week and then 2 days later we're off to Lexington, Nebraska for a family reunion. 5 days there, then we're back home, Sunshine will be off to college, school will start...no, no, no! I'm gonna cry!! No, not really, I don't normally get emotional. Although it is sad to think of Sunshine leaving...but we'll save those thoughts for a later date. ANYWAY, I really need to stop typing now. Thanks readers for reading rambly, rambunctious, run-on, random rambles. Try saying that 5 times fast. Haha just kidding. Okay, I really need to sign off now. Before I think of a good joke. Seriously, until next time...

Mr. Nmit...again.

Ah, yes folks it`s that time again. A time to enter into the ever-entertaining life of Mr. Nmit. Here is the third Nmit video that we just released yesterday. There are many more that we have filmed, but these three are the only ones that we have made public. So, without further ado, Mr. Nmit: Lemonade. Watch, if you dare.

Yeah, we`re kinda crazy, I know. You never know what`s gonna happen when we get together with the E`s. =)

So, yeah, I hope you all have a good weekend and such. And I will try to get my brother to post sometime so y`all can read something awesome. :D Oh and speaking of awesome, I`m just gonna leave you with one more video of my cousin`s senior recital. He is a beastly guitar player. I mean, BEASTLY. So, it`s kinda super long, but you have to at least listen to one of the pieces. And if you do just listen to one, make sure it`s the one called "Autumn Leaves." The rest of them are awesome as well, but that one is my fav. And if any of you readers play guitar, you will appreciate how crazy his skills are.

Sorry both these videos are kinda big. Oh well, I hope you enjoyed! Oh yeah, and if you want to download my cousin`s album, here`s the link: http://bennoble.bandcamp.com/album/faith-again-ep

Hopefully that link will work. He`s got some groovy music. ANYWAY, I`m really going to sign off now. :)

"His sweet voice soundeth..."

Jesus calls us o`er the tumult of our life`s wild, restless sea
Day by day His sweet voice soundeth, saying "Christian, follow Me."

Jesus calls us from the worship of the vain world`s golden store,
From each idol that would keep us, saying "Christian, love Me more."

In our joys and in our sorrows, days of toil and days of ease
Still He calls, in cares and pleasures, "Christian, love Me more than these."

Jesus calls us: by Thy mercies, Savior, may we hear Thy call,
Give our hearts to Thy obedience, serve and love Thee best of all.

-Cecil Alexander

Just thought I`d share this...have a great day! :)

5 weeks? Eeesh...

Yeah it`s been about five weeks since my last post. Pretty sad I know. Just thought I`d let you all know I`m still alive and well. =) In the past few weeks, we have been up to things such as homeschool co-ops (learning about things like how to say the word "orange" properly, and how to come up with a fairy tale twist in 30 minutes. Yeah that`s what we homeschoolers do in school.), turning 16 (crazy, I know), basketball practices and games, Thanksgiving, my sister`s 19th birthday, air-soft wars, school, meeting my sister`s CollegePlus! friends, school, getting sick, Black Friday shopping with Oggie, Bugg, and Mrs. Henn (never did find any boots that I liked), school, and we went out to lunch at McDonald`s with three of the awesome Nobises yesterday with lots of awesomely awkward conversations and comments and laughing til our cheeks hurt. Sorry, if ever there was a really bad run-on sentence, that was it. But I kind of like run-on sentences. Anyway, overall it`s been a good few weeks. Although it did snow yesterday. I was kind of sad, but it`s ok, I guess. Enough rambling though. I would like to share a verse or two with you guys that I found to be rather awesome.

Check out Isaiah 57:15:
For thus says the One who is high and lifted up, who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: "I dwell in the high and holy place, and also with him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly, and to revive the heart of the contrite."

That`s so awesome. God, who inhabits eternity! God who is high and lifted up! God whose name is holy! He who dwells in the high and holy place and also with him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit. He is all these amazing, incomprehensible things and yet He still dwells with the person of a lowly spirit. He still reaches down as our Father and revives us. He is so good!!

And I`ll just leave you with Isaiah 54:10, one of my favorite verses:
"For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed," says the LORD, who has compassion on you.

What an awesome promise! Hope you all have a great rest of the weekend!! :)

Dental Care

So, I`m getting my wisdom teeth out tomorrow. Or, to sound cool, I`m having oral surgery. But either way, I just couldn`t help but think of this Owl City song. Have a listen.

Just some lyrics,
Have a seat, he says pleasantly
As he shakes my hand
And practically laughs at me
Open up nice and wide
He says peering in
And with a smirk he says
Don`t have a fit, this`ll just pinch a bit
As he tries not to grin

I`ve been to the dentist a thousand times, so I know the drill
I smooth my hair, sit back in the chair, but somehow I still get the chills

So, anyway, sorry I haven`t posted in awhile. Seems like I`ve just been busy busy busy...but that`s not much of an excuse. Oh and before I sign off, I just have to share these couple of sibling things that happened recently.

So, Eddie Joe (8) told me this joke that goes like this:
Have you heard the joke about the three holes in the ground?
To which I responded: No.
Eddie Joe replied: Well, well, well...

I have confidence you guys will figure that one out. I did, after all. =) And then just this morning, The Big Fella (9) comes rushing into the room where Sunshine and I were. He then declares with fury: "Erik (Eddie Joe) called me a burglar!!!" Sunshine, trying to regain composure after stifling several laughs, replied: "What? He called you a burglar?" Big Fella, still quite upset, said: "Yes, he called me a burglar!!!! I am not even kidding!!" It was pretty funny. So, then we explained to both him and Eddie Joe what a burglar really was and all was well.

Well, I hope you enjoyed reading, and please, have a great weekend. :)

Rye Bread`s Random Rambles

As you might have been able to tell from the title, this post will be a bit rambly. I don`t think that`s even a word, but it sounded cool. Anyways, so, it turns out that we did take pictures in Colorado. Haha. Whoops. Not very many though and not really any good ones, so, I will spare you. :) Oh, and this morning as The Big Fella was eating breakfast his tooth fell out. He also lost one a couple of days ago, so, he`s pretty excited. Yeah, I know, really random. And it was also Eddie Joe`s 8th birthday rather recently. He invited his friends to go to the Ice Cream Capital of the World (yeah, Le Mars) and play at the park and, of course, eat ice cream. I actually had quite a bit of fun myself.  And the ice cream was wonderful. Here are some pics of that:

All twelve of us crammed in the 12 passenger van. We didn`t even plan that either. Good thing it worked out. =D

At the park. Playing monster.

Keeping an eye out for the monster...

The birthday boy.

ICE CREAM!!!!!!!!!

Mmmm...

Funny seeing those two together...

Present time!! Thanks for all the great gifts guys. He`s lovin them!

Well, that`s all the pictures of that. Pretty sure he had an awesome day. :) So, summer is over, school begins for us on Wednesday, and then we`re back into the flow of things. Ah, sad. But, it`s gotta start sometime, right? One thing that I am super excited for is Lifelight this weekend!!!! Whoohoo! It`s always a blast every year, and if you haven`t been, you really should come. The band I`m probably most excited for is Tenth Avenue North. They`re probably just about my favorite band. We just bought their new album and it is reeeaaallly good. I recommend it highly. I will now leave you with a couple of the songs from the new CD. Thanks for reading!!!

Colorado and cousins and stuff

Hello again. Well, Colorado was AWESOME but I`m horrified to say that we did not take a single picture. Not a single one. So, sorry about that. I really wish we would`ve because we had such a grand time, but no. T-bird and I had a crazy, but awesome time with our cousins whom we have been pretty much best friends with since birth. :) Ever since we were little we`ve had the the nickname the Peanuts, and it just kinda stuck. So, even now when almost all of us are in high school (Lauren`s got one more year in middle school), we four cousins are still the Peanuts. Pretty awesome. Haha. Here are a few pics that somewhat capture our weirdness when we`re together.

The Peanuts. And Eddie Joe. From L to R: T-bird, Lauren, me, Abby, and Eddie Joe.

Abby. Haha.

The Peanuts goin` swimming at the legendary Johnson Lake.

In the kiddie pool.

TUBING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D

Our band. The Peanuts.

Yeah. Don`t ask.

Peanuts in the brig.

Us singing some sort of song in one of our "concerts." ;) Not sure why we were wearing toilet paper.

DISNEY WORLD

At the pool. :)

JOHNSON LAKE!!!!

Takin` Lauren down!

Yeah. No comment...

So, yeah, sorry we didn`t take any pictures while we were there, but I hope you enjoyed looking at all the wacky pics of us from the past several years. They are such awesome cousins!! Anyway so the wedding was great, Eddie Joe and Peaches nailed it (close enough anyway), and we played telephone pictionary. Fantastic game by the way, you should definitely google it and play it sometime. Alright, I will now leave you with a skit that me, T-bird and my cousins did last year. Again, beware the weirdness.

Back again...for now

Oh boy. It`s been awhile. Sorry about this. We`ve been getting ready to go to Colorado and stuff, but, that`s still not much of an excuse. Although we found out about three days ago that Eddie Joe is to be the ringbearer in my cousin`s wedding (the reason we are going to Colorado) and Peaches will be the flower girl. And the wedding is on Saturday. So, we have been frantically trying to find the right clothes and stuff for them, but it`s all good. =) It`ll be fun to see them both in the wedding. Well, anyway, I apologize again for not posting for awhile, but by now I think everyone is used to it. ;) We leave today for Colorado and we will be back on Monday, so until then, see ya. :) Oh and I just want to say that me and my family are probably the biggest Nebraska Huskers fans you will ever meet. So, I`m pretty pumped to see them wear these new uniforms when they play Wisconsin this season. GO BIG RED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mr. Nmit: Back in Pink

So, I assume you all have watched the legendary Mr. Nmit a.k.a. "Pink Freak" video made by us Twinkies, Bertrum, and Katie. But...have you seen the sequel?? I will post both of them for your viewing pleasure. And before you watch them I have to say that the first one was pretty much impossible to top, so, the second one isn`t as good, but still, please watch it. :D

Hope you enjoyed these!! ;) =D Have an awesome rest of the week!!!!!

Hey, I`m back!!

Ok, I got back this past Sunday, and then I remember: Oh yeah!! We`re leaving for vacation this Saturday!!! AAAHHHH!!!!!!!! So, we will get back Sunday, July 1st and I will post the ultimate post sometime after that about New Orleans AND our vacation. I`m really excited to leave tomorrow bright and early (even though it seems like I just got back) and go to the Black Hills and  Mount Rushmore and Yellowstone and all that stuff with my family!!!!! :D :D It`s gonna be a blast!! Anyway sorry for rambling. In short, I will, again, be gone for a bit, but, like I said, I will be back for the ultimate post of everything that`s been going on this summer so far. So, goodbye for now. :) And I hope you are all having an awesome summer!!!!!! Also, please pray for T-bird and everything that`s going on with him right now. It`s not fun stuff. He definitely needs lots of prayer right now. Thanks!! =)

(Insert title here)

Wow. I nearly cried when I saw how long it`s been since I`ve posted. Just kidding, but seriously, it was kinda sad. It seems that I have been extremely busy lately, but, maybe that`s just me. :) Of the many things that have been going on lately, one of them was my sister`s graduation open house party thingy. It was a blast!! Here are some pictures:

Randomness....what a surprise!

Random. It`s a word that applies to me a lot. This will be, like so many other posts, a random one. So please, if you don`t enjoy reading random rambling things, press the x button on your screen; although I would really love it if you read this, but, whichever you choose is fine with me. :) Anyway, life has been CRAZY, getting ready for my sister`s grad party, cleaning, cleaning, cleaning, etc... But hey, at least we don`t have school! =) For now, I guess. Our youth group has been reading this awesome book called When Helping Hurts. Since most of the youth group (including myself and T-bird) are going on a mission trip to New Orleans, we thought it would be a good book to read before we go, not just for the team, but for the whole youth group. It`s been a really good, eye-opening book. You should definitely check it out. :) We had a really fun frisbee game with some of our peeps after Bible study last night (including JD). My team lost all two and a half games (of course), but we were outnumbered, and the other team had The Big C, who probably could`ve beaten us all by himself. Oh well, we are planning another, more official game next week at 5:30 (5:00 if you want pizza) before Bible study, and I will be coming to win. Haha I`m horrible at frisbee, so, that`s not really saying much. :D And one of our friends was driving T-bird, me, and this other guy home after frisbee, and we were driving down this guy`s street to drop him off, driving reeeeeaaallllly really slow, banging Tedashii and putting on our gangsta faces because we knew no one else was around, and all of a sudden we`re like, "Uh, there`s a car right behind us." Whoops. So, we sped up really fast and we didn`t feel very cool anymore. Ah well. Sorry, I really like run-on sentences. Anyway, in the past couple weeks we`ve had two drama performances, a symphony concert, T-bird`s piano recital, AVENGERS!!, de-sandbagging 2,000 sandbags, building a hoop house, chopping up tree branches, taking down our raspberry bushes, dusting ceiling fans, cleaning windows, and desperately trying to get the grass to grow. And it`s only just begun. But it`s pretty amazing to know that God is sovereign, even over the grass growing or not growing. It`s pretty awesome that we serve an all-powerful God. Sorry, that was a lot longer and way more random than I thought it was gonna be. I apologize. T-bird said he will post soon. :) Have a great day and an awesome weekend!!

An awesome blog...

Hey if you guys haven`t seen this blog yet, you should really check it out: Chosen for His Glory is an awesome blog written by my good friend JD. One of THE best blogs ever, filled with humor, seriousness, and beastly writing skills. You should definitely give it a read!! =) Anyway, sorry I haven`t posted in awhile...oh and my friend Ginger is going to start a blog soon too. Haha jk although I have tried to convince him. :) I have tried telling T-bird to post, but, to no avail. Someone else needs to talk to him...anyway I will end this quick post with a random picture of me and T-bird before our symphony concert.

T-bird nailed his solo, by the way. :)
